This session will look at positive coaching practices that are fundamental to keeping girls in sport. This interactive webinar will include a presentation of strategies for coaching girls and enhancing long term athlete development, inspiring coaches to consider strategies to coach both the mind and body to keep athletes healthy and strong during training cycles.

Jane King, Athlete Development, Sport Programming and Coaching Education Specialist
Jane King is the Executive Director of King Sport Group who specializes in amateur sport education seminars for coaches, athletes and community sport organizations. An advocate for Sport for Life, Physical Literacy and promoter of ethical and positive coaching strategies to keep athletes of all ages engaged in sport. While Athletic Director at Havergal College and The Bishop Strachan School, Jane promoted the importance of physical education and school sport programming for female athletes from ages 6 to 17 as well as supporting high performance athletes. Her volunteer work includes a variety of executive positions with school athletic associations, and also community and provincial sport organizations.
