Mental Health NCCP Course Grant – Interest Form

The programs goal is to increased mental health literacy among coaches, leading to improved coaching practice and coach mental health; and Improved functioning, performance, and mental health of individuals who frequently interact with coaches (participants, staff, significant others, coworkers, family, and friends).

Certain NCCP modules have been updated with additional mental health content. The course grant is to get this content (these courses) to coaches.

Key Information:

  • The grant covers 100% of the costs of the course (facilitator, materials, venue booking, etc.)
  • The program runs Feb 1st 2023 – March 31st 2024
  • Funding is limited and is first come first serve

  • NCCP Planning a Practice
  • NCCP Basic Mental Skills
  • NCCP Teaching and Learning

Primary Audiences

Specific audiences to be reached include coaches in:

  • Remote communities
  • Indigenous communities (when and where welcomed)
  • Socioeconomically disadvantaged communities
  • Communities of New Canadians / Newcomers to Canada
  • High Schools
  • The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services
