1. Definitions
The “Host" is the organization and venue where a Multi Sport National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) course in Ontario is being scheduled, coordinated and run in partnership with the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO). All Hosts must be accepted by the CAO.

The "Ministry" means the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (MHSTCI) of the Government of Ontario.
The "Subsidy" means funds that may be awarded by the CAO to Hosts under criteria developed by the MHSTCI to increase access to coach education.
The "Learning Facilitators" are neither employees nor agents of the MHSTCI nor the CAO. Learning Facilitators are independent contractors providing services for a fee under contract with CAO and potentially the Host using a set of provincial guidelines.
The “Workshop” refers to the NCCP event for which the Host has agreed to schedule, coordinate and run in Ontario.

4. Subsidies
In communities, if participant registration fees will not cover host expenses, subsidies may be granted to Host on a pre-approved basis. The subsidy shall only be used to offset the costs associated with hosting an NCCP workshop, such as the Learning Facilitator fee, travel/accommodation for the Learning Facilitator and participant manuals. Any subsidy will be paid after the completion of the workshop based on submission of receipts.
5. Repayment of Subsidy
The CAO may request repayment of or any part, of the subsidy, in the event that the Host:
(i) Has knowingly provided false information in its application for a subsidy
(ii) Uses subsidy funds for purposes not agreed upon by the CAO
(iii) Breaches any terms and conditions of this agreement
(iv) Breaches any of the provisions of the Human Rights Code in the operation of the NCCP.
6. Safe Environment
All programs funded by the Ministry and delivered by the CAO shall be conducted so as to create a safe environment for all participants.
7. Indemnity and Liability
The Host agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Coaches Association of Ontario, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all costs, claims, expenses, demands, actions, causes of action, and for any liability for damages to property and injury or illness to persons (including death) howsoever caused arising out of or in any way related to the subsidy or to the program.
8. Insurance
The Host shall maintain comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 per occurrence, for bodily injury (including personal injury), death, and damage to property, including loss of use thereof, and automobile liability insurance. If requested by the CAO, the Host shall provide satisfactory proof of such insurance.
