Ontario Coaching Excellence Award Winners 2019

We kick-started the week by recognising ten outstanding coaches at the Ontario Coaching Excellence Awards. The winners were honoured at a ceremony on Saturday, September 21st, at the Innis Town Hall in Toronto. Check out their fanatic videos by clicking on their names below:

NCCP Community Clinics

Over 250 coaches from across the province received SUPER Discounted National Coaching Certification Program training during the week. Coaches enjoyed the multi-sport modules of. Make Ethical Decisions, Fundamental Movement Skills, Planning a Practice, and Basic Mental Skills. Coaches also had access to the Community or Entry level sport-specific training in Basketball, Badminton, Hockey and Baseball (Pitching & Catching and Hitting). This was made possible with the help of our amazing Host Partners in the communities and the Provincial Sport Organizations. Here are some of the highlights:

For those individuals in our more remote communities or simply unable to attend a traditional in-class workshop, our Remote workshops were available to coaches each week night. To learn more about Remote Access CLICK HERE


National Coaches Week Online Auction

Thank you to all the amazing supporters and bidders who made the National Coaches Week Online Auction a great success! Together we raised over $5,300 which will help make Ontario the best place to coach and play sport.

All proceeds from the auction are used to offer subsidized coach training and development to increase the number of trained and qualified coaches, helping to create a fun, safe and positive sport experience for all Ontarian’s.

We sincerely thank our generous supporters from across the country who graciously donated numerous items. Because of your contributions, you have helped make Ontario the best place to coach and play sport.
