About our partnership with Hydro One
Hydro One is committed to building safe communities across Ontario by supporting partnerships and programs that promote safety training and safe play.
Through the Coaches Association of Ontario’s (CAO) partnership with Hydro One, we have launched Safe Sport 101, a virtual hub where coaches can gain access to the safety tools and resources they need to keep sport safe, fun and inclusive year-round. Together we are helping coaches advance physical and emotional safety for athletes across Ontario.
Nominate your coach to win $500!
CAO will be sponsoring a series of timely and low-cost workshops. Both the NCCP Make Ethical Decisions, Mentorship, and Fundamental Movement Skills workshops will be available for coaches from September 18-26. Each course is $10-15.
CAO has teamed up with a handful of Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO) to deliver discounted sport-specific courses during National Coaches Week!
Interested in taking a course? Please see the list of available PSO’s taking part:
Landmarks from across the province will light up blue, gold and red through September 18th – 26th in support of National Coaches Week in Ontario.
