Run Jump Throw Wheel is targeted at coaches whose coaching season ranges from 1-day fun days, day-camp programs or once or twice a week programs offered over a few months. This program is targeted at coaches/instructors who have little or no sport experience. The focus of this program is the introduction of fundamental movement skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.
Coaches who successfully complete the Run, Jump, Throw, Wheel online course with attain “In-Training” Status in their NCCP Locker
The Run Jump Throw Wheel course is offered online during this physically distance period. The modules will be delivered on Zoom with a live learning facilitator, interactive opportunities with other participants, and electronic manuals. You will need a computer or tablet with a mic and webcam.

This course is newly available in an online format, and comprises Part 1 of NCCP Community Triathlon Coach, including the module Coaching Beginner and Age Group Triathletes.
Coaches will cover safety, coaching philosophy, planning workouts, and designing programs for triathletes. Part 1 prepares coaches to complete activity plans and Emergency Action plans in swim, bike, run and transition, which will be used in Part 2.
This Part 1 session is completely online; no sport equipment is required.
As an online course, this session is particularly suited for coaches who are located in remote areas or who would have to travel extensively to attend a course in the 401/400 corridor.

This course combines specific boccia skills and general coaching concepts as they apply to participants competing at the local or provincial level. Coaches will be prepared to provide developing competitors with the basics skills necessary to become successful competitors.

This workshop provides an exceptional foundation for your coaching career and introduces new coaching methods that will enhance both your coaching and your program’s effectiveness. This workshop is for coaches working with competitive youth players in U12 and higher and recreational ringette coaches working with older athletes.
This course focuses on preparing coaches to plan and execute fun and safe practices for their players; introducing and learning more complex technical and tactical elements relevant to ringette; preparing coaches to plan for an entire season of ringette; ensuring coaches are aware, and understand the guiding principles of Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD) in order to appropriately plan their seasons.

Fundamentals Coach (level 1) is designed for coaches preparing entry level competitive swimmers for local and / or regional competitions. The Fundamentals Coach (level 1) training will focus on coaching swimmers in the Fundamentals and Learn to Train stages of appropriate athlete development.

In the RCA Coach context, coaches are guided through course curriculum and practical exercises focused on coaching athletes in a competitive context. RCA Coach is appropriate for coaches working with athletes in the Train to Train and Learn to Compete stage of the Athlete Development Pathway.

This workshop is ideal for the transitioning athlete or parent with limited or basic water polo experience. These coaches typically work with athletes in the FUNdamentals and/or Technical Foundations stages of LTAD who would be competing in community or city leagues in the 10 and under, or 12 and under categories.
