This is Ontario’s premier sport leadership event. An event designed for coaches, teachers, administrators and everyone with a passion for sport.
The 2021 Ontario Coaches Conference welcomed over 1,600 delegates from all across Canada for this year’s virtual event. The 2021 theme, ‘Shaping Tomorrow Today’, saw top experts from around the world including acclaimed authors, professional coaches, and sport science leaders coming together provide coaches with tangible takeaways for when sport returns again.
This is a unique one-of-a-kind event where you can receive training in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) in a number of different sports and contexts at discounted prices!
The Super Clinic affords coaches—from high performance to grassroots—with an opportunity to gain sport-specific technical abilities, plus leadership and decision-making skills, opening doors to new opportunities in both coaching and life.
The next Super Clinic is coming August 7-15, 2021, in a virtual format!
The Ontario Coaching Excellence Awards are awarded annually to 10 exemplary coaches across Ontario to celebrate and recognize coaches for the integral role they play with their team(s), sport and community.
Winning coaches will also be awarded a $500 prize reimbursement to be used on purchases for their team/club/organization, from local Ontario/Canadian businesses, proudly provided by Hydro One Inc.

Each year in October, CAO recognizes and says thanks at CDPD Weekend to all of our Coach Developers for all of the commitment, hard work and passion they show towards coach development.
The weekend provides an opportunity for multisport and sport-specific Learning Facilitators, Coach Evaluators and Master Coach Developers to come together for 2 days of professional development, networking and much more!

This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course. With the workshop you will be able to analyze certain coaching situations to determine if they promote learning.
This is a Competition Development multi-sport course. After completing this module, you will be able to manage administrative aspects of the program and oversee logistics.
This is a Competition Development multi-sport course. This module will enable you to fully understand and explain the consequences of using banned substances in sport.
NCCP Psychology of Performance will allow you to help athletes learn to manage distractions and use visualization techniques to prepare themselves technically and tactically for training and competition.
By completing the NCCP Planning a Practice module you will be able to organize a well-structured practice plan with safe, age-appropriate activities you’ve designed to match the proficiency level of participants.
This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course. By completing this module you will be able to create a sound outline for your sport program that includes competition and training events.
