The Coach Bursary Program for the 2023-2024 fiscal year is now closed. The 2024-2025 Coach Bursary Program is accepting applications, however will be pending approval until funding is released.
Up to a maximum of $300 per individual in the fiscal year (April 1, 2024-March 31, 2025) will be available to cover up to 60% of eligible course registration fees (workshop training) and up to 90% for completion of certification process (portfolio + evaluation). Home study workshops are no longer eligible.
The CAO will provide grants and support under this program to coaches who meet the following criteria:

Low income coaches can receive a bursary for 100% of the registration fee on one workshop. Additional workshops may be funded up to a maximum of $300. Please review the eligibility requirements before applying to see if you are eligible

The workshop focuses on the evaluation principles and processes that NCCP Coach Evaluators need to follow when evaluating coaches.
This workshop introduces Learning Facilitator candidates to the goals and philosophy of the NCCP, teaches them how to facilitate modules, and helps them understand the instructional design of the modules.
This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course. This module gives you the ability to recognize signs indicating that an athlete may need to improve his/her goal setting, focus, and anxiety control skills.
