The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines and establish procedures for all cancellations, refunds and returns that take place as a result of CAO programming and events.
To ensure that workshop cancellations, refund requests, and manual returns are reviewed appropriately and applied consistently throughout the CAO.
This policy applies to all who engage in CAO programming and events. Amendments to this document may be made, when required, by the Executive Director.
The CAO does not cover travel or any other expenses for participants to attend any courses or events outlined in this policy unless communicated otherwise for a particular program.
Transfers can only be provided between the same format of CAO-hosted workshop (i.e. Online can only transfer to Online, In-person can only transfer to in-person, etc).
It is the responsibility of the CAO to notify registered participants and the Coach Developer when a workshop cancels only when the CAO is the host. The CAO reserves the right to collect an administration fee for all refunds as set out in this policy. Otherwise, responsibilities and enforcement are as follows:
It is the responsibility of the participant to notify the CAO of their cancellation.
It is the responsibility of the host partner to notify registered participants, the Coach Developer, and the CAO of workshop cancellations.
It is the responsibility of the Coach Developer to contact the Host Partner and CAO if they are unable to facilitate.
It is the responsibility of the host partner to have and administer their own refund/cancellation policy.
In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop, notification to the CAO must be provided five (5) business days prior to the start date of the workshop.
Once notice is received, the participant will have three options:
In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop and notification to the CAO is provided less than five (5) business days prior to the start date of the workshop.
In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop and notification to the CAO is not provided prior to the start date of the workshop.
This section does not apply to NCCP Workshops taking place during a CAO Special Event; please see the CAO Special Event section of this policy for cancellation/refund procedures.

For workshops and events that are run by community partners where coaches pay the community partner the fee, please contact the host partner for their refund and cancellation policies. Host Partners delivering NCCP are encouraged to have their own refund policy.
When a Host Partner cancels a workshop and the coach is unaware and attempts to attend. The CAO does not cover travel or any other expenses for the participant. Please contact the host partner for their refund and cancellation policies.
No refunds will be provided for home study programs. All registration administration, marker fees and shipment of materials are paid immediately to service providers upon completion of registration.
Refunds and cancellations for CAO Special Events will be provided separately for each event and displayed during the registration process.
Refunds for extenuating circumstances will be reviewed by the CAO on a case by case basis.
The purchase of a CAO Community (1-Year Blue for $20, or Lifetime Gold for $100) is final.

Manuals that are no longer current, in disrepair, discontinued or revised are non-refundable.
