Below you will find information about the contest rules and regulations as it pertains to the CAO and the Athletics Ontario Running Podcast contest held from January 28, 2025 – February 2, 2025.
The 2025 podcast contest is administered by the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO), 100-875 Morningside Ave, Toronto, ON, M1C 0C7 (the “Administrators”).
Contest begins on Tuesday, January 28th @7:00pm. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (the “Contest Period”). Contest Winner will be randomly selected on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (ET) by the CAO via a virtual meeting.
The Contest is open to all legal residents of Ontario who have reached the age of sixteen (16) at the time of entry. The Contest is not open to: (i) employees, officers, directors, or representatives of the Administrators; (ii) the spouse and any member of the immediate family (defined as biological, step or adoptive mother, father, daughter, son, sister or brother) of any person described in (i).
One (1) Grand Prize of $100 in Petro Canada gift cards. The prize consists of two (2) $50 Petro Canada gift cards, with no expiry date.The Grand Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value and can only be redeemed through CAO, 100-875 Morningside Ave, Toronto, ON, M1C 0C7.
Contestants must comment with the word ‘RUNNING’ on the January 28th podcast contest Instagram post, posted by CAO (@coachesontario) in collaboration with Athletics Ontario and Athletics Ontario Running Podcast.Contestants can enter the contest up to a maximum of 1 time per Instagram comment with preceding account.No purchase necessary to enter the contest.
The Contest Winner will be randomly selected on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. ET by the CAO during a virtual meeting with three (3) staff members present. The Contest Winner will be selected using a random generator from all eligible entries received.
Contest Winner will be notified with a reply to their entry on the comment thread, with instructions for how to contact CAO to redeem their prize. If the Contest Winner cannot be reached and does not respond within three (3) business days of the date of being declared a Potential Grand Prize Winner, the Administrators shall conclude that the selected entrant has forfeited the Grand Prize, which may then be randomly selected and awarded to another entrant.
Prize Claim: Contest Winner must provide valid photo identification indicating they meet eligibility requirements in section 1.
The Grand Prize will be mailed at the expense of the Administrators to the Contest Winner’s preferred Ontario address.
By entering the Contest and/or voluntarily providing his/her personal information, each entrant consents and agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of the entrant’s personal information by the Administrators. The Administrator will not use an entrant’s personal information for any other reason than notification of contest results, meeting eligibility requirements and nor will the Administrator otherwise disclose it to any additional third party.
