NCCP Core Training for Learning Facilitators

Workshop Times:

Monday, May 11th from 6:00-9:30pm ET AND
Tuesday, May 12th from 6:00-9:30pm ET
Full attendance at both sessions is required.

Online Course Information:

This is a live, NCCP Master Coach Developer led interactive group-based course offered online. You will be required to communicate and complete group work with other coaches. You must have your own computer with a headset containing a built-in microphone.

Coaches that login when the course content has started will not be allowed to participate and will be ejected from the course.

Course Description:

NCCP Core Training for Learning Facilitators is a 7-hour workshop that all NCCP Learning Facilitator candidates must take. The workshop introduces Learning Facilitator candidates to the goals and philosophy of the NCCP, teaches them how to facilitate modules, and helps them understand the instructional design of the modules.

Modules:

• Overview of the Workshop and the NCCP
• Functions of an LF
• Elements of an Effective Learning Activity
• Stages of Group Development
• Nature of the group

Important Registration Information:

• Transfers or cancellations with fewer than five (5) days’ notice are subject to a $25 charge. Please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy for more information.
• Participants must be in a proper learning environment with access to the platform and course materials simultaneously. Please do not attend while you are driving or the facilitator will ask you to leave and you will not receive a refund.
• These courses are open to ONTARIO RESIDENTS aged 14 years and older. If you are currently residing in another Province or Territory please contact your local NCCP Provincial/Territorial Coaching Representatives (PTCRs) to get approval before registering.
