National Coaches Week in Ontario is here! This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach.

Course Description:

This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course.

By completing the NCCP Design a Basic Sport Program you will be able to:

  • Create a sound outline for your sport program that includes competition and training events;
  • Compare your program to those outlined by the NCCP in terms of long-term athlete development;
  • Assess the athletic development opportunities your program offers, and identify ways to remedy any weaknesses;
  • Interpret the information in a sample program, identifying training priorities and objectives at certain periods;
  • Establish a link between your program’s training objectives and the content of practice sessions.

Important Registration Information:

  • These courses are open to ONTARIO RESIDENTS ONLY aged 16 years and older.
  • This course may be postponed if registration minimums are not reached.
  • This program will utilize eMaterials. All NCCP materials are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced or redistributed without consent.

*No refunds or transfers will be provided for NCCP workshops for National Coaches Week. National Coaches Week courses are for Ontario residents only. Out of province coaches will be removed from the event.*
