CAO and Hydro One are excited to present this discounted NCCP course through our new Safe Sport 101 partnership. This new partnership with Hydro One will bring a series of timely and low-cost workshops. Both the NCCP Make Ethical Decisions & Empower+ workshops will be available for coaches from September 20-27.
About our partnership with Hydro One
Hydro One is committed to building safe communities. Through our partnership, we are launching Safe Sport 101, a new virtual hub where coaches can gain access to the safety tools and resources they need year-round. Together we are helping to build a culture of safety both physically and emotionally for coaches and athletes across Ontario.
This is a live, NCCP Learning Facilitator led, interactive group based course offered online. You will be required to communicate and complete group work with other coaches. You must have your own computer with a headset containing a built-in microphone. Tablets and cellphones will NOT work.
Coaches that login when the course content has started will not be allowed to participate and will be ejected from the course.

This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course.
By successfully completing the NCCP Make Ethical Decisions training, coaches will be fully equipped to handle ethical situations with confidence and surety. The training helps coaches identify the legal, ethical, and moral implications of difficult situations that present themselves in the world of team and individual sport. This is a Competition Development multi-sport course. After completing this module, you will be able to manage administrative aspects of the program and oversee logistics.
This is a Competition Development multi-sport course. This module will enable you to fully understand and explain the consequences of using banned substances in sport.
NCCP Psychology of Performance will allow you to help athletes learn to manage distractions and use visualization techniques to prepare themselves technically and tactically for training and competition.
By completing the NCCP Planning a Practice module you will be able to organize a well-structured practice plan with safe, age-appropriate activities you’ve designed to match the proficiency level of participants.
