Join CAO at the Toronto Pan Am Sport Centre (TPASC) on October 22nd for this in-person PD day specifically for YOU, our PSO partners. The day includes interactive facilitated sessions and will be a great opportunity for new and existing PSO staff to meet and discuss the most important coach-related topics we face every day. Lunch and networking included.
Agenda* 9:30 – 10:00: Arrivals 10:00 – 10:15AM: Welcome 10:15AM – 12:00PM: PSO Priority Discussions led by CAO CAO will lead group discussion on priority topics previously identified by YOU, our PSO partners. The morning session will include conversation about Coach Evaluations Barriers and Creative Solutions and a Coach Development Enhancement Funding program think-tank. 12:00PM – 12:45PM: Lunch and Networking 12:45PM – 2:00PM: Coaching Topics Speed Dating This fast-paced session will be a chance for PSO partners to share best practices, ask questions and discuss many different priorities identified by them. It is an opportunity for coaching leads from PSO partner organizations to take charge of their own leaning and questions. Multiple stations of different topic areas will be set up for attendees to go and ask questions, have discussions, and hear from CAO staff and other PSOs. 2:00PM – 2:30PM: Action Planning and Wrap-Up

NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (MED) training and evaluation is now available through a new eLearning module in the Locker learning management system.
NCCP Psychology of Performance will allow you to help athletes learn to manage distractions and use visualization techniques to prepare themselves technically and tactically for training and competition.
By completing the NCCP Planning a Practice module you will be able to organize a well-structured practice plan with safe, age-appropriate activities you’ve designed to match the proficiency level of participants.
Learn to improve the fundamental movement skills in participants through the NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills Workshop!
This is a Competition Introduction multi-sport course. This module gives you the ability to recognize signs indicating that an athlete may need to improve his/her goal setting, focus, and anxiety control skills.
