In March of 2024 Parachute Canada released the 2nd edition of the Canadian Guideline on Concussion in Sport as various key changes were made to align with the Consensus statement on concussion in sport from the 6th International Conference on Concussion in Sport – Amsterdam, October 2022. On this free webinar, experts from the field will help outline these updates as they relate to coaches’ obligations when serving as the Designated Person under Rowan’s Law. Any questions about these updates will also be addressed in a Q&A. Special Guest Jen Kish, Rugby 7s Olympic Bronze Medalist, will also be joining the session to provide their personal experience managing concussion as an elite athlete. This session is presented with support of the Government of Ontario and in collaboration with Parachute Canada and Ophea.
