Public workshops will be posted on CAO’s Course Calendar for registration by other participants in the region. Private workshops will not be advertised.
Online workshops have a maximum of 12 participants per session, while In-person workshops have a maximum of 24 participants per session.
Electronic Materials are provided by email to course participants 48 hours in advance of the workshop (Fillable PDFs). Hard Copy Materials must be ordered at least 10 Business Days in advance of the course start date. A fee of $5/workbook and shipping costs will be included in your invoice.

b>NCCP Host Agreement – Multi-Sport Courses National Coaching Certification Program
1. Definitions
The “Host” is the organization and venue where a Multi Sport National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) course in Ontario is being scheduled, coordinated and run in partnership with the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO). All Hosts must be accepted by the CAO.
The “Coaches Association of Ontario” (CAO) refers to the office through which the NCCP is delivered in Ontario.
The “Ministry” means the Ministry of Sport, Tourism, and Culture (MSTC) of the Government of Ontario.
The “Subsidy” means funds that may be awarded by the CAO to Hosts under criteria developed by the MHSTCI to increase access to coach education.
The “Master Coach Developers” are neither employees nor agents of the MSTC nor the CAO. Master Coach Developers are independent contractors providing services for a fee under contract with CAO and potentially the Host using a set of provincial guidelines.
The “Workshop” refers to the NCCP event for which the Host has agreed to schedule, coordinate and run in Ontario.
2. Time
These Terms and Conditions shall be in effect for the duration of all the host procedure events.
3. Recognition Policy
All workshop advertising and publicity associated with NCCP, shall acknowledge the Government of Ontario’s support for the NCCP as delivered through the CAO.
4. Subsidies
In communities, if participant registration fees will not cover host expenses, subsidies may be granted to Host on a pre-approved basis. The subsidy shall only be used to offset the costs associated with hosting an NCCP workshop, such as the Learning Facilitator fee, travel/accommodation for the Learning Facilitator and participant manuals. Any subsidy will be paid after the completion of the workshop based on submission of receipts.
5. Repayment of Subsidy
The CAO may request repayment of or any part, of the subsidy, in the event that the Host:
(i) Has knowingly provided false information in its application for a subsidy
(ii) Uses subsidy funds for purposes not agreed upon by the CAO
(iii) Breaches any terms and conditions of this agreement
(iv) Breaches any of the provisions of the Human Rights Code in the operation of the NCCP.
6. Safe Environment
All programs funded by the Ministry and delivered by the CAO shall be conducted so as to create a safe environment for all participants.
7. Indemnity and Liability
The Host agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Coaches Association of Ontario, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all costs, claims, expenses, demands, actions, causes of action, and for any liability for damages to property and injury to persons (including death) howsoever caused arising out of or in any way related to the subsidy or to the program.
8. Insurance
The Host shall maintain comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 per occurrence, for bodily injury (including personal injury), death, and damage to property, including loss of use thereof, and automobile liability insurance. If requested by the CAO, the Host shall provide satisfactory proof of such insurance.
