During National Coaches Week join us for lunch time Q&A’s on coaching and sport leadership in Ontario. September 21st-25th, host Akil Augustine will guide us through conversations on coaching, getting kids active, parasport, inclusion, safe sport, and more! Each session will include 30 minutes of open Q&A from participants (that’s you!), so bring your questions! Don’t miss this opportunity to get answers to your burning sport leadership questions.
“Only 4.8% of children (ages 5-11) and 0.8% of youth (ages 12 – 17) were meeting 24-hour movement behaviour guidelines during COVID-19 restrictions, compared to the 15% prior to the pandemic.”
Join us as we catch-up with ParticipACTION and discuss all-things physical activity and sport among children and youth in Canada. Current stats on children’s activity levels, school-based PE and organized sport will be presented as well as lessons learned from COVID-19. Tips will also be provided on how best to support athletes, on and off the playing field, when it comes to preparing for a potential second wave of the pandemic. Bring your questions on physical activity in Canada for Dr. Leigh Vanderloo!
Participants receive 1 NCCP PD Point
